Did you ever have an idea that just wouldn't cooperate?
A few years ago I had the idea for an image showing a bunch of impoverished kids fighting in the slums of a future US against a militarized police force.
SImple enough.
The ensuing years have been a textbook class on indecisiveness, procrastination, and false starts.
Stylistically, this started out in a photobash style, then painterly, and finally a quasi-animation style.
The roster of kids changed over the years, as did the technology level, architecture, and antagonists.
Now, finally, I can call it done, for better or worse. I have no idea if it was worth all that effort, but if nothing else, maybe seeing the journey will be of interest to folks out there.
